Six-arm Caliper Logging Tool (HCAL) The Six-arm Caliper Logging Tool (HCAL) is a Caliper Tool. The HCAL accurately measures the Borehole’s radius in six 60o angles, and the tool’s axis is the center of the radius. Three diameter curves or six radius curves will be obtained in logging process. During Open Hole Logging, the degree of irregularity of the hole will be obtained. During Cased Hole Logging, the position of the casing damage and deformation condition will be obtained.
