Four-arm Caliper Logging Tool (FCAL) The Four-arm Caliper Logging Tool (FCAL) is a Caliper tool. The tool accurately measures the Borehole’s radius in four 90o angles, and the tool’s axis is the center of the radius. During logging, a two diameter curves or four radius curves will be obtained. During Open Hole logging, the degree of irregularity of the hole will be obtained. During Cased Hole logging the position of the casing damage and deformation condition can be obtained.
