Three Arm Caliper Logging Tool (ECAL) The Three Arm Caliper Logging Tool (ECAL) logs the borehole diameter using its three arms to drive the POT inside the tool, and transfer the change of borehole diameter into electrical signal. In the ELIS logging system, the electrical signal will be calculated into the digital borehole diameter.
