Rugged Gamma Ray Tool The rugged gamma ray tool is used with the perforating guns for depth correction. After depth has been verified, the gun may be fired with the Gamma Ray Tool on the line. The Tool features a shock absorption scintillation Gamma Ray detector built to withstand the blast of the perforator.
