Digital Acoustic Logging Tool (EDAT) The Digital Acoustic Logging Tool (EDAT) provides high quality compression measurement of the formation. It’s transmitting transducer generates firing pulses to the formation in the borehole, the acoustic signals through the formation are picked up by it’s receiving transducers and are digitized. It can be run as a CBL Logging by selection of the service table.
