Caged Fullbore Flowmeter Body The Caged Fullbore Flowmeter is run at the bottom of the Production Logging Tool string. By allowing a large diameter impeller to pass through small diameter tubing, accurate flow rates covering a large cross section of the casing may be measured. The spring-loaded external cage as a three (or six) arms roller centralizer helps to support the weight of the tool in highly deviated wells. The spinner and cage assembly collapse down to tool diameter for running into and pulling out of hole.
Both 43mm OD and 35mm OD body have five types for 4 1/2in, 5in, 5 1/2in, 7in, 9 5/8in casing condition. Every kind of body has 3-arm and 6-arm as two versions
